夢で逢えるのに 〜Sometimes I Cry〜
This is w-inds. new single coming out next month (June 11th).
A Japanese cover of Eric Benet's "Sometimes I Cry", which Keita performed in his tour and w-inds. Live tour and other shows (he's obsessed with it, see?). So this single turned out to be a slow ballad where Keita shows off the new improvement in his falsetto. Unfortunately I know nothing about vocal range and the like, and therefore is not qualified to make any comment on how better he is now. Nor can I say if I really like it or not. Personally I found w-inds and Keita seems to value his inhuman high pitch a little bit too much, while his ability to deliver the folded emotions is what I love.

I'm obsessed with photos - photo sets, photobooks, I try not to miss any if possible. So I bought these photo sets in Fukuoka last year, on the day of Keita's birthday. It was such a memorable concert and KeiRyu were so adorable, pfffft.
Let's get straight to the point: I finally scanned them last week. Yay. Because I could not find any scan on the internet (maybe some Chinese fans already did, blessed them for not using English), and I just love to archive. Anything.
That is the good news. Here is the bad news: I used the shared scanner at my school's library, and unfortunately, it was abused by stupid student who obviously don't know anything about scanners. Its glass got a lot of scratches, which are visible in the black-themed photos. Plus I picked a very rare day when my hands sweated a lot, and so... fingerprint. Lol.
Therefore expect poorly scanned and edited photos following. I did add a super tiny, almost invisible watermark at the corner, please leave it there if you share my scan. That's all I ask for.

Just a fast update:
w-inds. new single, "A Little Bit" is up in beyond the Distance. Feel free to share but credit me for the rip. And DON'T share my link.
The A side is good but a little bit overdone for me. However, all the B-sides are very strong, especially Rock Your Body and We'll Be Alright. Check it out yourself. And buy the CD!!
Edit: I saw a few request to beyond the Distance coming in after this post, so anyone who wants access please read this. Thanks.

w-inds. songs: Covers and Originals
This is a rescue post from the original (http://windsworldwide.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=310) I made on w-inds.worldwide BBS a long time ago. When the next pay date come the website and its BBS will be discarded because Ash and Melissa can no longer fund and administrate from the US. I think it's a better idea to save the work here so it can be reviewed in the future.

I kinda digged out an old post on w-inds. worldwide Facebook group and decided to make a list here, just in case some of us are want to check back later.
Here I will list songs w-inds. covered [A], w-inds. songs being covered [B], demos [C] and works of other artists which share the music/beat [D] in time order. However, I couldn't search for information of Cantonese/Mandarin songs, so if anyone could help it's really appreciated.
Most of information are found on FTF and Japanese wiki. And Google.
Edit 1: Thanks a bunch for ZhiJun's big help!!
Edit 2: I do not guarantee any information in this post is 100% correct. All of us can listen and confirm the music, but most of the relations between songs here are based on personal judgement (from release date, interview etc. or purely guess).

This preview should have been done half a month ago, if the editing program I'm using hadn't decided to refuse to encode it... and I was too broke to get a new software, my laptop was too old for upgrading and I was just lazy.
There are still unsync problem, and the quality is super low but.... GO BUY IT IF YOU WANT IT. Links are available in the sidebar!!

As said in a previous post, we at w-inds.worldwide are carrying out a collaboration video project with musicJAPANplus ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ. The video will be delivered directly and handed personally to w-inds. thanks to a generous offer by Yuki-san, MJP's chief-editor so don't miss this chance!
The voting has come to a close (and SAY YES wasn't chosen...) - Endless Moment will be the song used in this project!! (and I love it as much as SAY YES so that's it, lol). Everyone who chipped in even just 1 vote, thank you very much ( ´艸｀)

They have been working hard all these years for our entertaining, and it's now our turn to pay back and encourage them to keep on the road they have chosen!

Nominate w-inds. to NTV's Best Artist 2012!

It's been a while!

So what's is Best Artist? This is an annual music show held by NTV, in which featured are the most wanted artists voted by fans. There are usually around 20-25 artists performing each year as far as I could recall.
This year NTV has opened the nomination form in its HP. You can vote for 5 artist maximum.
So how can you nominate w-inds. (and other artists that you like too) if you don't understand Japanese?
Here I will present a step-by-step tutorial. Hope it could help :D
Step 1: Open http://app.ntv.co.jp/myntv/sys/enquete/input/?enquete_id=947
Step 2: NONE of these blanks can be left empty, which means voting for less than 5 artists is invalid. So please work out a list of 5 artists you want to be on there. They are numbered from (1) to (5) (number 1 is of course the most wanted and I hope that you put w-inds. here).
※ペンネーム (Alias)
※年代 (Age)
※性別 (Gender): 男 (Male) / 女 (Female)
※アーティスト（１） (Artist 1)
※アーティスト（２） (Artist 2)
※アーティスト（３） (Artist 3)
※アーティスト（４） (Artist 4)
※アーティスト（５） (Artist 5)
※ あなたが選んだアーティストの中で一番聴きたい曲は何ですか？ A song you'd like to be performed. It doesn't need to be a song of any of the nominees. Please enter a w-inds. song's name if possible :D
Step 3: Once you have finished filling in the form, click 送信.
Step 4: In the confirmation page, click 投稿する. If the website return a message like this "投稿が完了いたしました。" then your nomination was submitted successfully!
I think NTV doesn't use a cookie system to prevent multiple vote from an IP a day (or at least you can vote twice like what I've just done) so vote as many times as you want. It's up to you :)

Wow time really flies
It's been 1 month since the official launch of beyond the Distance!!
It was crazy at the very start, but now I have about 15 followers on the blog, and that is good. One of my purpose is to cut down the number of access to the files anyway.

Last week, Ashu started this very interesting topic on w-inds. worldwide bbs. It seems to be right on the spot thet everyone came and told their story there with the most earnest and honesty which makes the thread very interesting to read with such long posts (and we call them "w-inds. essay", obviously).

So, have you all watched the PV which was released yesterday? Do you like it? :D
In case you have no idea what I'm talking about, here is the new PV for leading song (but not lead anymore) of w-inds.' coming 9th album, "Listen to the Rain"
Because of the twisted romance scenes in the PV, many theories about the storyline have been brought up, and they are really interesting LOL
